Photos and Illustrations
The
program's rich illustrations reinforce
important points of information with imagery that helps the student remember the
lesson studied. Learning 2000 uses these illustrations to communicate essential
concepts and ideas.
Record Keeping
With the
Learning 2000 Lifetime Library's unique record keeping
ability, you are able to know how much time the student has spent on each
lesson. The Library also charts and tracks each student's exercise
and test scores, giving you a clear record of their progress and achievement
every step of the way. The Home
version of the Lifetime Library can store records for up to 5 individuals.
Tests
Every
interactive Library book begins with a
placement test to identify what the student already knows and what concepts and
information may be new. Inside each chapter are practice exercises, and each
book has a final test. Questions are designed to give the students real world
problems to solve, illustrating the importance of education in every day life.
Tools
Important tools are available at your fingertips. The
Library provides both a standard and a graphing calculator for the student
to use in solving math problems. Your toolkit also includes a complete standard
dictionary with thesaurus. The Spanish translation dictionary will assist
Spanish-speaking students.
